The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has announced that the biometric verification of youth corpers will commence in October.
NYSC Director-General Brigadier Sule Kazaure, said the exercise had been piloted in Lagos and Abuja and that it was a success.
“In 2014, the scheme made the giant leap from the manual system of mobilization, deployment, registration and relocation of corps member to the current ICT-based system.
“The idea is to ensure efficiency and effective management of our operations in line with current technological trends.
