Metro PHOTOS: Customized, Gold-plated iPhones Allegedly Given to Guests at GEJ’s Daughter Wedding

Goodluck Jonathan’s Daughter got married to Godswill Osim Edward at the National Ecumenical Centre in Abuja on Saturday.

The wedding was a five-star one, as Nigerian Eye reports, and the guests took “luxurious take-home gift packages.”

Among such “luxurious take-home gift packages” were customized gold-plated iPhones.

Luxury designer, Malivelihood made Facebook posts showcasing the gifts received at the wedding of the president’s daughter.

Malivelihood has denied distributing the gold plated iPhones as souvenirs, he said he only designed them as a gift to the couple. According to him, the gift was yet to be presented to the couple.

Also, a photographer and several wedding guests said nobody got any iPhone.

This whole rumor started on Twitter when a certain chronic spinster took a snapshot of Malivelihood's page and started talking thrash. She even refused to be corrected by wedding guests; some Nigerians have made up their minds to spread all manner of falsehood whenever they can.

Happy Married Life to the couple and shame on those who only got kitchen utensils as wedding gifts.
