Mr. Ayodele Adu, a Senior Special Aassistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on economic matters, is dead.
According to reports, Adu died on Friday, August 12, 2016, with details surrounding his death sketchy.
A condolence message released by Olayinka Oyebode, a special assistant on media to Dr Kayode Fayemi, the minister of Solid Minerals Development, confirmed the incident.
“May God grant him eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” the message read.
Sources say the late Adu, who hailed from Omuo Ekiti, Ekiti state, died in India, after a prolonged illness. He has been described as highly educated and skilled. He was an investment banker and a major stakeholder in the banking industry.
