Business Samsung Launches Smart Signage TV For Supermarkets, Stores, Restaurants And Others

Samsung Electronics have launched a special TV called Smart Signage TV designed to give small business owners a dynamic display of information on products and services in their stores.

The Samsung Smart Signage TV combines the functionality of a television with built-in management software for creating personalized promotional content to increase sales and improve customer loyalty and retention.

The TV has a highly reliable commercial display solution and has been optimized for shop owners' needs. The device differs from conventional TVs as it affords businesses the opportunity to divide the display screen into multiple sections, showing a wide range of materials that can be utilized to show promotional banners and menus, using videos, images and texts.

According to the Director of Samsung Electronics West Africa's Enterprise Business Division, Mr. Charles Ojei, the new smart signage TV is designed to provide small and medium enterprises with all they require to get up and running with digital signage as the solution's embedded content management system also makes it easy to create and display promotions from remote locations, using a mobile device.

The new product which is available in 40-inch and 48-inch models provides a complete platform for displaying digital content on promotions, sharing educational information about products and services, and broadcasting live TV for customer entertainment.

With the Samsung Smart Signage TV, business owners can wirelessly connect to the TV from their laptop, tablet or use a mobile device to instantly publish and update content, or load new content using USB drive. It comes with over 200 free templates for creating personalized signage designs and split-screen content. It is ideal for use in restaurants, bars/lounge, supermarkets, salons, gyms, Laundry, hospitals and more.

The product currently costs $749.99 (around N150,000).
