Nigerians on social media lashed out at President Muhammadu Buhari's personal assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad over his statement criticizing court ruling on Patience Jonathan's $5.9m account.
Recall that a Federal High Court in Lagos ordered the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to unfreeze the account of former first lady Patience Goodluck Jonathan.
Mr. Ahmad criticized the Thursday's ruling saying: “The Judiciary is one of our biggest headaches. President Buhari has severally appealed to them to help him in the fight against corruption.”
But Nigerians believed that President Buhari appointee should uphold the constitution and law of the land before his principal.
